		<description>It wasn't as sweet as it looks. The only sweet part on it is the chips...and the tartness from the pears balanced it out. :)</description>

hey, you want to know what i just learned about chocolate chips? they will never melt unless you stir them.  isn't that weird? i made cranberry toffee bars for christmas and when i took the bars out of the oven, the recipe said to put the chocolate chips on top and wait 5-10 minutes, then spread gently.  they will hold their stubborn little shape until you stir them...

i found that out AFTER i put white chocolate chips on my toffee bars and baked, and baked, and re-baked them, and all i ended up with were toffee bars with brown, crumbly white chocolate chips on top! the chips still tasted good, so i brushed them off, put dark chocolate chips on top, put it back in the oven (poor bars!) with the oven turned off for 10 minutes...and then when i took it out and let it sit for 10 minutes, it was totally spreadable.
